Lodging at The Bark
Eater Inn
The Tradition of Adirondack hospitality is
well served here...
a tradition that began in the 19th century when the Inn catered to stagecoach passengers
traveling between Lake Champlain and Lake Placid.

The
Main Inn
|
| Our Inn is an old farmhouse...with a few
updates--that still retains its charm, but, as you can imagine, presents a few drawbacks.
|
 |
| The
cozy livingroom, fireplaces and spacious dining room offset having to share
a bath. However, it's very pleasant just to walk downstairs for your morning
coffee, breakfast or dinner.

|
The
Carriage House
|
 |
Only a step away across the
lawn, these rooms are nicely appointed, have private baths, and are located in a
completely renovated building where the carriages and riding gear actually were stored in
the early days. |
The
Log Cottage
|
|
The original four-room cottage has been
enlarged into two suites and an additional two rooms with private baths. It
sits on a hill above the Inn, within shouting distance and a short drive. |
 |
|
Its quiet woodland setting is
almost astride the ski and riding trails. |

High
Country
Log Cabin |
 |
This newly constructed, single
unit log cottage is the ideal honeymoon suite. Nestled away in the
woods, this romantic getaway includes a whirlpool bath, fireplace, in floor
heating, mini kitchen, and don't forget -The Bed- ! |
