Accommodations at the Bark Eater include . . .
The Main Inn

Our 150-year-old farmhouse has a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, with three spacious common rooms and
a fireplace. There are seven bedrooms with shared baths. Our screened-in front porch and open wood deck offer comfortable places to sit, sip coffee, and take in our spectacular view of the surrounding mountains.
An authentic old farmhouse (with a few updates), the main inn retains its rustic country charm. The rooms may be a bit small and the bathrooms shared, but there are benefits—such as a sense of stagecoach-era history and the convenience of walking upstairs to bed after a warm evening in front of the fireplace.
The Carriage House

Our Carriage House, a few steps across the lawn from the main inn, was once an actual storage house for the stagecoach and guest carriages. It now offers four bedrooms with private baths, one with a private deck.
High Country

Nestled in the woods, this private, single-unit log cottage is a romantic getaway complete with whirlpool bath, gas fireplace, in-floor heating, and mini kitchen.
