The Inn
Originally a
stagecoach stopover, the Inn is an old farm nestled in the
famous Adirondack Mountains, minutes from the Olympic village
of Lake Placid. |
 |
|
The Inn is filled
with antiques and all rooms are graciously appointed. Famous
for its food, the inn's style is refreshing country gourmet. |
 |
Due
to its location off the main road the Inn offers a quiet,
relaxed atmosphere. Minutes away are all the summer or winter
activities and attractions one might expect to find in a famous
mountain vacation area. |
| In
the summer, the Inn offers an extensive riding program, including
lessons and polo. The stable has horses for both English and Western-style
riding. The experienced rider will enjoy the well trained,
responsive horses and the beginner will be able to relax and gain
confidence. |
 |
|
Lessons, including polo, are available. Packages keep the price
down and allow for lots of additional riding. |
 |
Accommodations include our 150-year-old farmhouse with two
fireplaces and three spacious common rooms, antiques everywhere,
and seven bedrooms with shared baths. |
|
Carriage House
Four
bedrooms with private baths are in the renovated carriage house. |
 |
 |
Log Cottage
A
hand-hewn log cottage deep in the woods nearby is ideal for
families and groups. |
|
High Country
Nestled away in the woods, this romantic getaway includes a
whirlpool bath, fireplace, in-floor heating and mini kitchen. |
