 CROSS COUNTRY SKIING
 

In winter, the Inn offers cross- country skiing on premises, and also connects to miles of wilderness trails.

Trail consultation and design is available for downhill and cross country ski areas. The owner Joe-Pete Wilson has also co-wrote a book with William J. Lederer called "Complete Cross-Country Skiing and Ski Touring".

Twenty kilometers of trails for cross-country skiing through the meadows and woodlands of a former working farm.  The Bark Eater Inn is tucked away in a high mountain valley in the heart of the Adirondack Park.    The Park is a mix of public and private land containing the largest wilderness areas east of the Mississippi.

Cross-Country Ski Center

Minutes away is the Olympic Trail Complex, a must for anyone interested in cross country skiing.
