Micro Weddings

Intimate, intentional weddings for couples who want the High Peaks without the overwhelm.

Our micro wedding are designed for groups of 20 guests or fewer and includes the same breathtaking mountain views and outdoor locations as our full weddings. We have room for all your guests to stay onsite to relax and celebrate all weekend.

Keep it simple or go all out, either way we’ll help help you bring it to life in collaboration with other Adirondack wedding professionals.

Yurt & Pond

Just a 10-minute walk through flowering meadows, or a brief drive down a dirt road, we have a newly constructed yurt next to a gorgeous pond. This is available for an additional charge for rehearsal dinners or small ceremonies. We also have a fire pit right by the waters edge.

the high peaks

In addition to hosting elopements and micro weddings on site, we are a great base for getting out onto the trails for a mountaintop or lakeside ceremony with just the two of you and an officiant or a couple of special guests. Of course, if you want a big party at the inn afterwards, we can help with that too!

Lodging

One of the most magical parts of Bark Eater wedding is the ability to gather your nearest and dearest together on site for the whole weekend. Our inn and cabins can accommodate up to 20 overnight guests, and we’ll cook up a big farm-to-table breakfast for everyone each morning. We require a 2 night minimum on accommodations for our weddings, which can be covered by the couple or the guests individually.

Event Coordination &

Officiating Services

We require that weddings over 20 people have a designated event coordinator and we highly recommend a planner for larger weddings unless you have the time and desire to do that legwork yourselves. You are welcome to use officiants, planners and coordinators of your choice, but if you need assistance, our hostess Meghan Kirkpatrick offers her services as both an experienced officiant and a event coordinator to ensure your event runs seamlessly and to keep your planning process streamlined.

Pricing: Full Event Coordination $1,000–$2,500 (dependent on size and complexity/staffing needs) & Officiating Services $300.
